If it’s a struggle getting your car into gear, for example, or if your clutch feels abnormal (riding high, pulsating, slipping) then it could well need replacing or repairing.
Should you notice that your engine revs are rising and falling randomly, or you hear a grinding sound as you move through the gears, this could also be a sign that your clutch needs repairing.
If you find that your car loses acceleration or ‘drive’ when changing gears, this could well be another warning that you’re dealing with a faulty clutch.
